Our athletics program is a key part of what we do at Austin Classical School. Starting in 5th grade, students can participate in a variety of sports that suit their interests and abilities. Our School of Logic (5th – 8th grade) is part of the CAPPS league in Austin, and our School of Rhetoric (9th – 12th grade) is part of that TAPPS league for our high school athletes.
Typically, our School of Logic (5th – 8th grade) offerings include the following:
- Fall Sports: 6-man tackle football, flag football, girls’ volleyball, cross country
- Winter Sports: boys’ and girls’ basketball
- Spring Sports: track & field, golf, tennis, soccer, and off-season practice for volleyball and basketball
High school athletics offerings include:
- Fall Sports: 6-man tackle football, cross country, girls’ volleyball
- Winter Sports: boys’ and girls’ basketball
- Spring Sports: track & field, golf, tennis
While not part of the CAPPS or TAPPS league, students in 3rd grade and up are able to participate in our Mustang Fencing Club as well.
